Siamo liete di annunciare la partnership ufficiale con la SRH Berlin University of Applied Sciences per il contest dedicato alla connessione tra arte contemporanea – performance art, arte visiva, danza e teatro – e club culture. Ringraziamo la SRH Berlin University of Applied Sciences, la professoressa Brigitte Biehl e tutti i suoi colleghi che ci hanno dato fiducia e concesso questa grande opportunità!
Performing The Club è un progetto che mira a mettere a confronto mondi che apparentemente hanno poco in comune: arte contemporanea e club culture. Lo scopo è avvicinare il pubblico del clubbing a quello dell’arte contemporanea e performativa. In realtà, ci sono già molti elementi in comune sia tra i due tipi di pubblico che tra le due espressioni artistiche.
Il concorso è rivolto a tutti gli studenti che vogliono mettere in gioco la propria passione per l’arte e le capacità di scrittura scrivendo un articolo dedicato alla performance art, visual art, danza o teatro in relazione alla club culture. L’obiettivo è scrivere un articolo su un progetto o artista interdisciplinare il cui lavoro è legato anche alla club culture o potrebbe essere inserito in un programma artistico all’interno di un evento di clubbing.

We are pleased to announce the official partnership with SRH Berlin University of Applied Sciences for the contest dedicated to the connection between contemporary art – performance art, visual art, dance and theater – and club culture. We thank SRH Berlin University of Applied Sciences, Professor Brigitte Biehl and all her colleagues who trusted and gave us this great opportunity!
Performing The Club is a project that aims to compare and connect worlds that apparently have little in common: contemporary art and club culture. The purpose is bringing the clubbing audience closer to the one of contemporary and performative art. Actually, there are many elements in common both between the two types of audience and the two artistic expressions.
The contest is addressed to all students who want to put their passion for art and writing skills at stake by writing an essay dedicated to the theme of performance art, visual art, dance or theatre in relation to club culture. The aim is to write an article about an interdisciplinary project or artist whose work is connected also with club culture or could be featured into an artistic program within a clubbing event.
